Arcane Green Lantern - Helmet

In this tutorial I'll walk you through how I made the helmet for Arcane Green Lantern from Infinite Crisis, as commissioned by Chris.  It's important to note this was a major learning experience!  Do not follow this tutorial as a guide of "what to do" so much as a guide of "what can work but could also use some serious improvement."

Website Redesign!
Posted by Josh at 7:56 pm on February 22, 2014 @Alpha_Rho_Rho

For anyone who has visited the site in the past, you'll probably notice it has gotten a slight overhaul.  I finally changed the color scheme and design to be in line with our new logo.  I also decided to put some of our awesome, high-res photos to good use as header images which I think was the best design decision I've ever made.  Smaller changes include putting the social links front and center, combining several menu categories into the "Extras" tab, adding a page for Fenix to add their concept art, and better integrating video throughout the site.  Now all of the videos that have been taken of us can be found under the corresponding Character and Event pages, alongside the images.  Hopefully people like all of the changes!

Zer0 - Helmet
Posted by Josh at 3:31 pm on September 13, 2013 @Alpha_Rho_Rho

The one costume-piece I've created that I get asked about more than any other is my helmet for Zer0.  I hear you, I really do.  I scoured the internet when making that for ideas, too; it's a beast.  The reason I hadn't written up a tutorial earlier is because I don't recommend making it the same way I did; I had some good ideas, but I also made it a lot harder on myself than I had to.  You've been warned.

Welcome to Cool By Proxy Productions! We're a couple in and out of cosplay that makes incredible costumes and props in our free time.
